TOP TEN FINISH FOR REIVER BOWLING

WAUWATOSA, Wisc. - The first tier-one event of the season saw the Iowa Western Men's Bowling team finish ninth out of 41 teams at Midwest Collegiate Championships.  This is the first time in program history that the team finished in the top ten at a tier-one event.  Iowa Western defeated five of last year's participants of the Intercollegiate Team Championships.   The Reivers were led by Freshman Kaleb Anderson who bowled 1231 in six games to earn a top 50 finish.  Freshman Cameron Brundage followed with 1198 pins and also earned a top 50 finish.

On the women's side, Sophomore Kaylynn Oliver led the team with 1026, good for a top 50 finish.

The Reivers are back in action on Saturday and Sunday, October 9-10 at the Cedar Valley Invite from Waterloo, IA; a two-event weekend with a different event each day.
