Inconsistency plagues men in Sioux City

The Reivers men's bowling team made the short trip north to Plaza Bowl in Sioux City, IA for the Mustang Invite this past weekend. Scores were a bit on the low side throughout the day, which made spares even a greater importance.

The team battled through ups and downs all day until the last game of the day where the team shot a 974. With freshman Andrew Chavarria, Jacob Schuster, and Tim Lincoln all scoring over 200, but more importantly only missing 2 spares combined.

The Reivers' carried that momentum into the Sunday baker portion of the event. Showing a considerable improvement of consistency the men shot 3003 for the 16 games, an average of 187.7 which was good enough for 4th on the day including a narrow 16 pins better than tournament leader Hastings College.

The men ended up 7th for the event cutting the gap from 5th from 232 pins to 29 pins by the end. A little too late, but nevertheless a good momentum builder going into the winter break.

The team was led by

Freshman Tim Lincoln who shot a 1112 for 6 games and

Sophomore Devin Wilson who knocked down 1104 for 6 games.
