Marshalltown, IA - The Iowa Western women's basketball team finished Region XI regular-season play 3-1 after defeating the Marshalltown Tigers, 82-46 on Saturday, February 1, 2020. 

The Reivers were paced by their defensive pressure, grabbing a season-high 16 steals and converting 28 points off of the Tigers' 28 turnovers.  The Reivers also held the Tigers to shooting just 25% from three. 

Offensively, guard-play was unstoppable for the Reivers with all three starting guards in double figures. Jaiden Morris led the way with 21 points, Sommer Blakemore with 15, and Hayley Berfield added 10. 

The team improves to 14-9 on the season and 7-1 in 2020. The Reivers will look to continue their undefeated home-streak in 2020 as they take on Southeast Community College (NE) this evening at 6:00 p.m. Girls of all ages are invited to attend the game for free as the Reivers will recognize and celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
