Freshman Faith Linga was the runner up in the Women's race, while fellow underclassman Shawn Kiptoo was runner up on the Men's side as the Reivers raced strong at the Region XI Championships hosted by Indian Hills. 

This was a stark difference from a year ago where both teams went unscored running only four men and no women. 

Linga was named Region XI runner of the year after a dominating season finished 2nd with a time of 16:52. Emmy Jepkemei was the next reiver to cross the finish line finishing in 6th place with a time of 18:30. 

On the Men's side, Shawn Kiptoo finished 2nd earning All-Region honors, running 24:17.  Kibet came in third, with a time of  24:25. 

Next up for the Reivers, the teams head to Albuquerque, NM for the NJCAA Cross Country National Championship November 9th.
