COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA – No. 14 ranked Laramie County Community College Men's Soccer struggled against No. 16 Iowa Western Community College and fell 9-1 on the road in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Freshman Omar Castruita (Boulder, Colorado) scored the lone goal for the Golden Eagles in the 34^th minute with a shot that just eluded the Reivers' extended keeper. Abe Lopez (Boulder, Colorado) had the assist.

Moments in the first half had LCCC hanging around with Iowa Western but in the second half IWCC was in full control of the match.

Tanner Riedel (Laramie, Wyoming) took the loss in goal for Laramie County (2-2). He recorded two saves in the match before being replaced by Mario Munoz (Longmont, Colorado) in the 56^th minute. Munoz made three saves.

Jassem Koleilat had eight saves for the Reivers (5-0).

The Golden Eagles are back on the road Sunday afternoon to face No. 15-ranked Iowa Lakes Community College.
