OTTUMWA – Iowa Western's volleyball team dropped the first set Wednesday night, but came back for a four-set win over Indian Hills.

The win gives the third-ranked Reivers the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference title and the top seed for the Region XI tournament later this month.

Genesis Sheridan led the Reivers with 15 kills and a .682 attack percentage.

"We were trying to get her the ball as much as we could," Williams said.

The Reivers, who swept Hills at home on Sept. 5, threw a bit of a scare into their coach early, she said.

"I thought team came out flat, and I didn't know how they were going to respond. We pulled through in the second, third and fourth sets, but I didn't ever feel like we were in control of the match."
