2018 Indoor Nationals

LUBBOCK, TX

The Reivers take down 3 school records at National Track meet . The 2 day meet started of with the Men's and Women's multi Zarin Goodrich has her best performance of the year with PR's in 3 of the 5 events with a score of 2404, Sophomore Marcus Klein takes 7th place with a PR and breaking the school record in the heptathlon with a score of 4826. Freshman Samiya Abu Youm(9.31) and Denzel Downing (8.34) both run PR's in the 60 hurdles. The Jumps were lead by Freshman Dexton Crutchfield who took 4th (7.34m) and set PR's in each of his first 3 jumps, sophomore David Ejumenta has a steller meet even tho long jump didn't go as planned he battled back the next day to take 2nd in the Triple Jump with a jump of 15.34m. Sophomore Salome` Brugier takes 3rd in the Pole Vault with a season best of 3.50m. Vincent Gordon had the double of the 60m (6.78) and 200m  (21.30)which he placed  6th in both. Traci Brown takes 8th in the 60 with a time of 7.53 which is a PR and a new school record. The last event on the track was the Men's 4x400m relay (Jacobi Agee, Jordan Minnis, Vincent Gordon, Renardo Wilson) take the Reivers to a 5th place finish of 3:10.96 breaking the school record by 3 seconds. With a smaller than normal team the Reivers performed amazing on the largest stage of the year after this meet the Reivers will have big goals for the outdoor season.
