Second ranked Reivers open dual season with dominating performance

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - The second ranked Reiver Wrestling teamed flexed it's muscle on Wednesday night taking a decisive 33-9 victory over 11th ranked NIACC.  

Iowa Western won seven of the nine matches picking up four wins by fall. Sophomore Seth Ham looked impressive pinning the Trojans Sedrack Sheppard in 0:28.  Also picking up falls for Iowa Western was D'Andre Brumfield (6:30), Cody Kingery (6:57), and Travis Gusan (2:16). At 184 pounds, freshman Ottis Peeler picked up his first collegiate victory in exciting fashion scoring a 12-10 win over fourth ranked Jaylen Lee.
