The Reiver Women's Bowling team cleared 10,000 pins in 2 days of action at Airport Lanes outside of Buffalo, New York for a Top 10 finish in their first ever appearance at NJCAA Nationals.
In the squad's inaugural season, Iowa Western finished number 10 in the final team standings.
The women had 3 finishers in the top 40 women bowlers. Mackinzey Arnold shot 1970 finish 24th, Samantha Morris shot 1946 to finish 27th and Erica Richards shot 1843 to finish 33rd.
Head Coach Chad Goodwin said after the event, "It was a trying season, but we hit a nice stride to round out the season. We'll take what we've learned and move forward into year number two with a lot of momentum."
