Sioux Falls, SD- The Reiver's traveled to Sioux Falls, SD to compete in one of the most competitive meets in the region.

In his first 7k, Gavin Klein led the Reivers for the second straight week coming in as the 3rd best junior college competitor. Head Coach Doug Marshall was very impressed by the way his freshman has competed "He is maturing each week and gaining more confidence each time he steps on the line, it's fun to watch".

Daniel the lone returner improved tremendously from last year's race. His improvement showed in the final results finishing 70 places better than he did last year. Assistant Coach Marc Bierbaum was excited about his progression "I am very proud of the hard work Daniel has put in these first couple weeks" It's gonna pay off in the end".

Steven Hinze continued to improve for the Reivers pushing hard for a strong finish. Hinze had a great start to the race that helped set him up for a very aggressive finish. "All in all I thought as a group we took the right steps forward for where we are in the season" said Bierbaum.

The Reivers will hit the road next week for Grinnell, IA for the Les Duke Invite.
