DeMarcus Stid begins his first year as Iowa Western Throws Coach after a strong showing at McPherson College. Stid helped to bring seven athletes to the national stage, three of which qualified in the throws with a strong year of setting new school records.

Conference champion in the 2022 KCAC Indoor Shot
Conference champions 2022 KCAC outdoor shot, discus, hammer, and javelin throws
National qualifiers in the shot, weight throw, hammer, discus, and Javelin throws
National runner-up in the indoor shot
All-American honors in the shot, weight throw, and discus throw
2022 Indoor & Outdoor South Central Field Athletes of the Year.
At Frostburg State University:
Regional qualifiers in the hammer and discus
MEC conference champions in the weight throw, hammer, and discus throw
A graduate of Indiana Tech with a Bachelor's of Science in Fitness & Recreation
