Maryville, Mo. - #2 ranked Men's and Women's teams travelled to NorthWest Missouri State for the Bearcat Invitational this weekend. 

On the Mens side, the DMR team of Flynn Pumpa, Michael Francois, Mo Kowa, and Geoffry Ronoh set the all conditions, all time national record and school record national leading mark running a 9:46.12. 

Jayden Brown ran a national qualifier in the 600y in 1:11.54 to move to finish 2nd posting the #3 in school history.

Tiago Sabino ran a 2:29.43 to move to #4 in the 1000m in school history. John Mabar had a solid weekend running 2 #5 marks in school history. He posted national qualifiers in the 800m 1:55.68, and the 1000m 2:29.76.

In the Men's 5000m, Barnabas Ndiwa led the way of national qualifiers running 14:26.20 #4 all time, Victor Kemboi 14:52.10 #7, and Jacinto Gaspar 15:04.65.

The women were led by a strong showing from the DMR foursome of Sien Van Vuren, Glory Okon, Angeline Estrada, and Ayianna Olivas. They set the national leading mark to break the school record in 12:15.15. 

Sarai Simpson won the shot put, throwing the #3 mark in the nation with a toss of 14.43m. Teammate Natalie Albert hit a national qualifier in the weight throw with a 15.38m. 

The Distance squad continued their impressive weekend. Barbara Nieva had a busy weekend running a national qualifier in the mile in 5:10.69 and the 5000m in 18:04.64. Her mile time is #3 in school history, and her 5000m is #4. Sien Van Vuren ran a national qualifier in the mile with a 5:16.56 to mile to #6 in school history. Angeline Estrada ran a 5:17.08 to post the #7 time in school history.
