MARYVILLE, MO- The men's team had a strong showing at the Bearcat Invite hosted by Northwest Missouri State University. They finished the weekend with seven top ten finishes for the weekend. This was a great tune up meet as they will begin championship season next weekend with the Region XI Indoor Championships.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

• Daniel Reimer finished 8^th in the 1000m run with a personal best time of 2:38.78
• The men's DMR (Gavin Klein, David Gamble, Aldo Zavala, Kassim Kibet) qualified for nationals with a time of 10:21.33 that is the 5^th fastest time in the nation
• Chevannie Hanson finished 4^th in the open 200m with a qualifying time of 21.88
• Denzel Downing finished 6^th in the open 200m with a time of 22.18
• Kassim Kibet was the top collegiate finisher in the 3k with a time of 8:28.90 that moves him up to 4^th in the nation
• Jaquon Burns finished 6^th in the 60mh with a time of 8.68
• Andrew Paster finished 7^th in the 60mh with a time of 8.69
• Johnie Jean-Jacques finished 12^th and qualified for nationals with a toss of 14.66m
