The Reivers finished 5th at the Derek Dolenc Inviational hosted by Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville at the Gateway National Golf Links. Day one ended with the Reivers shooting rounds of 296 and 291 to earn a tie for 5th with Creighton University. The final round saw the Reivers shoot the low round of the day, 285. It was enough to break the tie to finish 5th alone with a 3 round total of 872. Sophomore Joel Durnford led the way for Iowa Western by shooting rounds of 69, 70 and 68 to finish runner-up. AJ Nolin finished T-23 with rounds of 73, 75, and 73. Parker McEachern and Tom Westenberger both finished T-33 with a three round total of 224.
The men tee it up again at their home event The Bent Tree Intercollegiate on October 9th and 10th.
