The Iowa Western Men's Bowling team recently signed three local area bowlers from Thomas Jefferson High School. Andrew Chavarria, Brett Hiers, and Jacob Schuster were all integral members of the class 2A Iowa state championship team.

"We are very excited to have signed this trio. Bowling in college requires team chemistry at a level greater than most people realize. Andrew, Brett, and Jacob will be ahead of the competition, making this an immeasurable asset." Coach Goodwin said.

"By navigating through a very competitive district and finishing top in a highly contested state competition, where merely 100 pins separated first through fifth place, demonstrates they are capable of making shots when pressure is at its greatest." Coach Chavez said.
