Ottumwa, IA -- The Iowa Western Reivers dropped their final regular season game of the year to Indian Hills 91-77 Saturday evening (2/23/19) in Ottumwa, IA. The game had seeding implications for Indian Hills but no significance in seeding for the traveling squad from Council Bluffs.  Iowa Western had learned from the previous night's Marshalltown win over Northeast that the Reivers would be the #3 seed in the tourney regardless of the outcome in Ottumwa the following day.

With the Marshalltown win over Northeast, Iowa Western held all the tiebreakers over both the Tigers of Marshalltown and Hawks of Northeast.  The Reivers overall "body of work" this season, including their strength of schedule; combined with it's strong 21-8 overall record, meant that Iowa Western earned itself an ICCAC Region XI playoff 1st Round bye, and a semi-final date with Southeastern in West Burlington, IA this upcoming Wednesday evening (2/27/19).

Christian Bentley led all scorers in the contest with 26 points, while Travon Broadway (17pts), and Emmanuel Ugboh (11pts) rounded out the double figure scorers for the Reivers.  Ugboh, once again collected another "double-double", grabbing a game high 16 rebounds to go along with his aforementioned 11 point effort.

Indian Hills was led by Torrey Patton's 20 points, as the Warriors will host the winner of the Marshalltown vs Northeast rematch in Wednesday's other ICCAC Region XI semi-final.

Iowa Western's ICCAC Region XI semi-final against the Blackhawks of Southeastern is slated for 7:00pm.
