Iowa Western swept the major awards and placed a league-high 11 players on the All-Iowa Community College Athletic Conference football team, released Wednesday.

For the Reivers, quarterback Kai Locksley and running back Mekhi Sargent were named Co-Offensive Players of the Year, and defensive end Chester Graves was named Defensive Player of the Year.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Locksley has thrown for 1,964 yards and 16 touchdowns, and run for 671 yards and 19 scores. At 5-11 and 215 pounds, Sargent has rushed for 1,298 yards and 14 touchdowns.  Graves (6-5, 240) ranks second on the team with 37 solo tackles and 27 assists, and has a team-best 20.5 tackles for losses.

Iowa Western's Scott Strohmeier was named the league's Coach of the Year. The third-rated Reivers take a 10-1 record into the Dec. 3 Graphic Edge Bowl against No. 5 Northwest Mississippi (8-2) at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.

Eight other Reivers earned all-conference honors: receivers Vincent Perry and Mike Hill, offensive linemen Anthony McKinney, Noah Banks and Chancelor House, linebacker Jabari Meyers, defensive back Ky'el Hemby and kicker EddieOgamba. Perry also was named as the return specialist.
