West Florida High product Noah Banks commits to Arkansas football

Add another name to the list of Pensacola-area products who have made the move to big-time Division I college football. 

Iowa Western Community College offensive lineman and West Florida High product Noah Banks committed to the University of Arkansas on Wednesday via his Twitter account. 

Banks, 6-foot-7 and 300 pounds, is a three-star recruit according to 247Sports and also had offers from Missouri, Iowa State and Minnesota.

Originally committed to play for Troy, he eventually signed with Murray State in 2015 and started started 10 of 12 games for the Racers as a redshirt freshman in 2016.  

Iowa Western (9-1) is currently ranked No. 3 in the NJCAA headed into Saturday's regular-season finale at College of DuPage. Banks will be able to leave Iowa Western at semester and enroll at Arkansas in January to participate in winter workouts and spring football.
