Richmond).

Born and raised in Fullerton, California, Tetrault attended Troy High School, playing both baseball and football. Tetrault went on to serve as a bullpen catcher at the University of Arizona from 2018-2021.

During his time with the Wildcats, he assisted and worked under head coach Jay Johnson (current head coach at LSU) and pitching coach Nate Yeskie. During his time at the University of Arizona, the Wildcats went on to win a PAC-12 Championship and appeared in the 2021 College World Series. Tetrault graduated from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management in May 2021 on the Dean's List with a degree in accounting.
