Reivers put together a complete win in an 11-1 (8-innings) victory over Southeast (NE) on Wednesday.

Freshman Joseph Roecker (Elkhorn, NE) took the hill for his first collegiate start.  Roecker gave up 1 run in 2.2 innings pitched before handing the ball off to the bullpen.  Parker Shreve (SO, Cody, WY), Isaiah Peterson (FR, Lincoln, NE), and Keaton Winn (SO, Ollie, IA) combined for 1 hit, 0 runs, and 7 strikeouts in 5.1 innings.  This game marks the 24th game of the season where the Reiver Pitching Staff has allowed 1 run or less.

The offense tallied up 11 runs on 15 hits and 6 free bases on the Storm Pitchers.  Cole Evans (SO, Columbia, MO) lead the Reivers going 3-5 with 2 RBI.  Trey Smith (RS/SO, Cypress, TX) added 2 hits in 3 plate appearances scoring 2 Runs.  Sophomore Ben Sneider (Larkspur, CO) finished his day with 2 hits, including a 2B, 2 RBIs, and a Run scored.

Iowa Western is back in action on Saturday April 28th as they host ICCAC Opponent Marshalltown for a DH starting at 2pm.
