Andrew Mohr begins his 13th year working with Reiver Athletics in 2023-24.
Andrew works with IWCC as an athletic trainer and adjunct faculty member.
Mohr is responsible for the evaluation, care, and rehabilitation of IWCC athletes as well as teaching classes within the exercise science and health and recreation programs.
A current CPR/AED instructor, Andrew is responsible for certifying the IWCC coaching staff in the use of the emergency defibrillators the department utilizes along with maintaining CPR certifications for the department. He also helps with teaching the Iowa Coaching Authorization Course where he instructs future Iowa coaches on sports medicine topics.
Andrew graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008 and became a certified athletic trainer in 2009. After graduation, Mohr went on to attend Oklahoma State University as a graduate assistant, working with the men's and women's track and cross country teams, graduating in 2011 with a degree in applied exercise science. During his time at OSU, Andrew was able to complete a research thesis project on self-myofascial release that was later published.
The North Platte, Nebraska native, Andrew currently lives in Omaha with his wife Sara and son Leo.
