Reivers' Football dominates NJCAA All-American teams

Colorado Springs, Colorado - The NJCAA released their Football All-Americans today, placing eight Reivers among the three teams.   

Iowa Western's high powered offense earned four 1st team selections.  Sophomore Quarterback Kai Locksley (2247 yards passing, 20 TD | 723 yards rushing, 20 TD), Sophomore Running Back Mekhi Sargent (205-1449-14 rushing), Sophomore Center Chancelor House and Sophomore Left Tackle Anthony McKinney (TCU signee) were all honored with selections to the top squad.

Defensively, Freshman Defensive End Chester Graves (67 tkl, 20.5 tfl, 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles) earned the first team nod for his performance.

Other honorees include Strong Safety Ky'el Hemby on the 2nd team, and Right Tackle Noah Banks and Return Specialist Vincent Perry both named Honorable Mention.

In addition, offensive player of the year honors are expected to go to Locksley for his performance during the Reivers' 11-1 season.

Of the eight players, only McKinney has committed to the next level, Graves will return for his Sophomore campaign next fall. Decisions from the remainder of the Sophomore class are expected soon, as the early signing period comes tomorrow (12/20).
